"I write songs. I don't really write albums. I write whatever I feel like writing. I don't consider what the audience thinks ever during the process. I am an artist, not an entertainer. If you like it, great. If not, then that's fine too. I am not making products to be reviewed and refined by focus groups and marketing departments. I live, I laugh, I write, I record. I release bits and pieces, compilations plus new songs, yadda yadda. But they all start as a group of songs made together or an E.P.
I'm not a video star or producer. I hate music videos actually. I listen to the radio, I don't watch the radio. I don't care about clothes or image or tattoos or whatever. None of these things make music any better or worse to me. I suppose I'm like those people who prefer books to movies. I dont feel cheated or like the world sucks because I am not that popular, and most people don't think the same way I do. I also understand that a lot of work and science goes into the most popular music and thats actually pretty amazing. I could never do what those performers do anyway so I dont worry about it. Im just trying to explain that I dont think the world should be the way I want it, but I would like to find a small piece of it that is."
"When I started doing covers I wanted to avoid making replicas. I love Weezer, but I don't see the point of something like 'Africa' and I kept that in mind as I embarked. During this process I was part of 3 beat clubs : Anno Domini, Legion Beats and Temper Beats. I also bought a lot of beats from Wyshmaster. Matching the cover songs to the beats was a random process and I was forced to collab in a different way. Some of them came out great. Some are total WTFs."
"I have been fortunate to have known and learned from extraordinary musicians and record producers over the course of my life. I grew up near Time Capsule Studio in Denver and it ended up playing a big part in my formative years. Jim Jackson was a great guy who loved music and he had a great studio. In that studio I made records with well known guitarists, namely Robert Tiernan (Windowpane), Dave Martinez (Chaos Theory), TJ Edwards (Uversa) and John Ellington (The Legendary Katthouse Pickers). Well known drummers included Kevin Smith (Joe Bonner Group), Kenny Ortiz (Flobots), Jerry Benoit, and Colin Chinsammy (Grass Fed). Other musicians included Tom Sublett, Bret Sexton, and Rick Weingarten. I learned about music from all these people. A lot. I also learned about recording at that time from Geoff Workman, Kirby Orrick and Brendan Lavery."

"I take a lot of the photos, others are taken by my wife and children. Sometimes I just straight up steal Images. I dont take credit. Its all kind of a random association."
